Usually associated with sun-kissed terraces and swanky beachside bars, the frivolous sibling of red and white wine is certainly having its moment. But “rose wine”, which has soared in popularity in the last two years, hasn’t always been such an exciting and sought after tipple. For many years, rosé was regarded as a wine for people who didn’t really like wine.

The only way then to change people’s minds is to give them a rose wine of premium quality and finest taste from family vineyards, a product of Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) in Karditsa, Greece. “The Duck Rose” from “Filia Gi” company is harvested from black moschato and limniona grapes at family-owned vineyards near the winery. Its characteristic vibrant red color has a rich and thick body and brings out fragrances of fruits, such as cherries, accompanied by black pepper and tobacco, with a thick and fruity mouthfeel and a long aftertaste.
