Artemision Agriculture SA is the leading Greek organic walnut producer and trader. Family-owned since inception in 2005, located on the Artemision plain of Northern Evia facing the island of Skiathos and the wind-swept Mount Olympus to the NE, it nourishes and harvests 1,150 organic walnut trees as well as a good number of Black Walnuts grown for their valuable timber.
The Artemision farmland of 67,000 s.m. is situated within a designated Natura area of natural beauty and stretches from the sea-shore to the fertile plain inland; its northern border defined by the Xirias river, a sanctuary for wildlife. The walnut farm was created 15 years ago with the expert advice of experienced French cultivators and planted with the most productive walnut varieties imported from the Perigord.
Well-managed, closely supervised by the owning family, the Artemision farm produces the best quality organic walnuts from its one-thousand-plus walnut trees, harvests, crushes, packages and sells them straight from the farm, taking advantage of its equidistant transport from Athens to the south and Thessaloniki to the north.
Artemision SA is now available to investors, preferably specialized in international walnut business, interested to acquire a strong, financially healthy, established business with high growth potential.
